America and Europe have different standards when it comes to mattress sizes. To make matters worse, UK and Ireland sizes differ from continental European sizes.
Canadian and American sizes are named twin, full or double, queen and king. UK/Ireland sizes are called single, double, king, super king, while European sizes are simply referred to by their width and length in centimetres (e.g., 90 x 200).
